An Exciting Undertaking for Clients Josephine & Lem. With an understanding and passion for Boston's Historic Beacon Hill and Back Bay Architecture - our Client's second home in these adjacent neighborhoods brought a wonder bank of experience as well as a desire to "Honor" the bones of their new home. Moore Design developed this vision of Modern Meets Classic early on to emphasize original architectural details while developing a more functional home for the family of five. Located in the Flat of the Hill our challenges came with the tight terrain & restrictive building codes of the neighborhood. Editing & Integrating an in-law suite "extension" built in the 80's brought our Design together - working with the most skilled Plaster Craftsman allowed once scarred tracery to truly come back to life. A project lasting over 18 months, Moore Design Ltd. is very grateful to Joe & Lem for going on this Modern Meets Classic Journey with us!
